眼下に桜島を見下ろす｢きほく上場公園｣は、全国星空継続観察で4季連続して日本一に選ばれた絶
景の地である。過疎・高齢化の進む町を、“星空の美しい町”として世界に情報発信したこの建築は、
高原の持つ土地の精神性と融合して宇宙へのファンタジーを喚起し、地域に呼び掛け、地域を活性化
する環境生命体。
　　　
Although Kihoku-cho had suffered from the problems of decrease of population or increase of aged citizens,birth of
this architecture causes to make Kihoku-cho be world famous as “the town of beautiful night sky.”And the museum
works with the spirituality of highlands,inspires fantasy of cosmos and continues calling to global surroundings.
